Garden Totems at Rita's Studio
Create garden totems at my studio in Louisville. You'll learn to make and glaze ceramic "beads" for a totem up to 4ft tall. Open to ages 16 and up; some clay experience is helpful but not needed. On the last day we will assemble your sculptures onto steel rods attached to a concrete base.
Make your clay pieces on Wednesday, July 16, from 1-5 PM, and Thursday, July 17, from 1-5 PM. Glaze your pieces on Wednesday, July 23, from 1-5 PM, and assemble your sculpture on Thursday, July 31.
The cost is $250 which covers all studio time, clay, glazes, instruction, firing, and a steel pole with a concrete base.
